1/64 Scale DCP Kenworth W900a Smokey And The Bandit Truck "Snowman's rig" custom built.
This is a new first gear/ DCP Kenworth W900A model truck, that has been completely modified to be a replica of "The Snowman's" rig from Smokey and the Bandit. 🇺🇲
The truck is stripped to bare metal and then painted with Black Automotive paint and clear coat.
The wheels, fuel tank and steps are all spray painted with an aluminum paint to tone down the Chrome more like the movie truck and then clear coated.👊
And then the proper decals are applied 😎
The trailer and reefer unit have both been painted black to be as authentic to the movie as possible. While making sure to leave the silver stripe along the bottom .
The wheels of the trailer have also been painted black while leaving the aluminum ring at the outer edge. Then a large decal is applied over both sides of the trailer and then pressed into the rivets as tightly as possible. Along with the gold lining around the reefer unit,it is not perfect to the movie. But it seems to be the best fit for the reefer unit on this truck. If there's enough interest I will consider designing the reefer unit from the movie. Please feel free to send me a message if that's something you think I should be doing. I can't get any better unless you guys tell me💪😎🇺🇲
Of course this is a custom made model and it shows signs of such, but its pretty darn close to perfect. All you need is a load of coors😆
